The creator says Jev picks which Dot takes each job. In the playable demo, the interface titled “DOTS + JEV” shows a morning run with 13 jobs and Jev-labeled picks for jobs and handoffs among role-based agents: Scout for research, Quill for writing, Relay for inbox work, and Patch for operations. This supports a broad inference that Jev helps route work to an appropriate agent and coordinate handoffs. The post and demo do not reveal the Jev request state, question wording or type, returned typed answer, or the implementation behind those picks.
The demo shows a dispatcher coordinating agents with distinct roles while keeping consequential actions under human control: jobs involving money or clients wait for the user. This offers a concrete example of model-assisted task routing with a boundary around actions that need approval.
