SuperTerminal

A terminal app whose command palette combines local fuzzy matching with optional Jev ranking of commands, tabs, and sessions for plain-language searches.

Added to Jevfast

How it uses Jev

A sufficiently long settled query is compared against currently available palette rows. Jev returns a candidate Choice and whether any candidate matches. The app may promote a strong candidate or fill otherwise empty results while keeping local matching responsive.

What Jev decides

Question 1 · any match
YOUR APP
INSTRUCTION

Does at least one candidate genuinely satisfy the query? Low when the query is gibberish or asks for something no candidate offers.

STATE

A settled command-palette query, active tab ID, and available candidates with IDs, kinds, and labels. This chart shows the fixed any_match question; the same request also contains a dynamic pick Choice over those candidate IDs.

App workflow

  1. Open palette

The user opens the command palette and enters a query.

  2. Match locally

Local fuzzy matching updates immediately as the query changes.

  3. Rank settled query

For an eligible settled query, Jev ranks the current candidate rows and estimates whether any match.

  4. Merge results

The app applies its confidence and any-match thresholds to promote or fill rows without blocking keyboard use.

Why it is interesting

It joins a semantic ranker with a local fallback and uses a separate any-match decision to avoid forcing irrelevant results into the palette.
